If residents face difficulties with their relocation, we’ll immediately mobilize our volunteer Party member teams and partner with a moving company to provide assistance—ensuring that the planned tasks are completed by the August 20 deadline." On August 15, during the daily morning briefing at the Qingxi Lake Wetland Park Project Command Center in Dongfeng Road Subdistrict, Zhongmou County, Deputy Head Ren Wensheng outlined the day’s assignments before promptly leading command center members to visit households and begin their work.

Qingxi Lake Wetland Park (Zhangbagou and Dili Xiaocheng River System Connectivity Project) is located in the area south of Shangdu Avenue, east of Xinpu Street, north of Zhanqian Avenue, and west of Zhongxing Road. It is part of Zhongmou County’s 2017 “156” Project—a strategic initiative aimed at accelerating the construction of key county-wide projects. Specifically, the county selected 100 major government-invested projects and 50 industrial projects each with investments exceeding 100 million yuan, collectively targeting a total investment of 60 billion yuan. The park itself is one of Zhongmou County’s top ten priority projects for 2017. Covering a total area of approximately 1,195 mu, with 395 mu designated as the river and lake blue-line zone, the lake excavation primarily spans the area south of Wenbo Road, west of Shengzhou Street, north of Zhanqian Avenue, and east of Xinpu Street.

Reportedly, this project—set to become the largest green space in Zhongmou's old city district—is designed around the principle of "blue-green integration." Drawing inspiration from the "sponge city" concept, it leverages the ecological foundation provided by the Zhangbagou and Dilixiaoqing River water systems. The project aims to not only collect rainwater resources and reduce local runoff but also serve as a vibrant recreational and leisure area for nearby residents, students, and others. The site is divided into three distinct zones: a regular water-retention viewing area, a floodplain zone for stormwater detention and storage, and a slow-movement recreation and entertainment area. Within the latter zone, visitors will find scenic features such as green pathways, lush landscaping, decorative elements, wooden boardwalks, garden paths, and charming pavilions—alongside essential urban amenities like public restrooms, benches, and informative signage.
